I Am Not A Meme

Have you ever seen a political/religious/philosophical meme completely misrepresent your beliefs? Made you out to be someone completely different from who you are? Do you think it's possible that you have shared a meme that did the same to someone else?

Do you think it might be a problem that we simplify the vast complexities of the beliefs, motivations, values, and lives of the 7 billion+ people on Earth down to a simple meme that we share as a joke? And, maybe without realizing it, that weirdly enough, memes actually affect how people think? My life, thoughts, beliefs, perspective, motivations, and values cannot be adequately represented by a meme. I am not a meme. #IAmNotAMeme
